SF Comics Fest wants you, artists!

SFCF call for artistsThe San Francisco Comics Fest wants Bay Area artists to help promote us in our inaugural year. Join us!

We’re looking for illustrations that convey the vibrancy and diversity of the San Francisco comics scene, past and present, to use on the SF Comics Fest website and in promotional materials such as posters and postcards. The San Francisco Comics Fest is fueled by the collective volunteer efforts of the Bay Area comics community.

Any donation of your time and talent will help get this endeavor off to the successful start it deserves. In return, we can offer our undying gratitude and a prominent artist credit on our website, in social media, and on all other promotional channels.

HOW TO SUBMIT: Email sfcomicsfest@gmail.com, attn: Julie Davis.

Please include a concept sketch of your illustration and a link to your portfolio. Final art should be full color, 8.5”x11” @ 300 dpi. Time is short — we want to start promoting the festival and your work as soon as possible — so simple, graphic concepts that can be turned into final art quickly are preferred. Please do not include licensed characters unless you own the rights and want us to use the character. Other questions? Ask at the email above!
